Because this employment unit has ten or less full-time employees, two outreach
initiatives are required. The outreach initiatives conducted by this employment
unit this year are as follows:
On January 4, 2012, our chief engineer participated in a webinar sponsored by
the FCC. The title of this four-hour
webinar was “EEO Conference”.
On February 29, 2012, twelve girls from the Fairplay
Wilderness Camp took a guided tour of the studios. They were shown the various parts of our
operations, and were given the opportunity to ask questions.
On March 29, 2012, sixty students from Athens Christian
School took a guided tour of the studios.
They were shown the various parts of our operations, and were given the
opportunity to ask questions.
On October 17, 2012, twenty students from Leadership Toccoa
(Stephens County High School) took a guided tour of the studios. They were shown various parts of our
operations, and were given the opportunity to ask questions.
